| With the rapid development of economy, China's highway construction has entered a rapid development period. In the course of the use of the roads, there will be various forms of cracks in the asphalt concrete pavement due to the traffic loads and environmental factors. These cracks will cause a lot of road diseases which will not only affect the use of the road, and even affect the traffic safety. Glassfiber grids have good physical and mechanical properties such as strong integrity, high tensile strength, good durability, etc.. It can be applicated into the asphalt concrete pavement and can improve the pavement's performance such as prolong the fatigue life, strengthen the anti-rut and anti-reflective crack ability, thin the thickness of pavement, etc.. The technology of using glassfiber to reinforce the asphalt concrete pavement is an effective way to improve the asphalt concrete pavement's performance.This paper engages in research of asphalt concrete reinforced with fiberglass grids for the following:1,On the bases of research of existing construction techniques, put forward the corresponding evaluation indicators and means of simulated test and determine a reasonable construction techniques for the main problems which affect the construction quality.2,Analyze the environmental and traffic factors which will affect the asphalt concrete pavements, make comparative experiments between asphalt concrete pavement reinforced with fiberglass grids and ordinary asphalt concrete pavement in road performances such as strength, stability, fatigue durability, etc, make a summary of the technical characteristics of asphalt concrete reinforced with fiberglass grids.3,Analyze the structure of asphalt concrete pavement reinforced with fiberglass grids, study the changes of the stress and the displacement after reinforced by glassfiber grids, determine the design parameters in combination of the existing asphalt pavement design specification, and research the performances of asphalt concrete pavement reinforced with fiberglass grids from the perspective of the structural design of asphalt pavement. |
