With the development of modern industry technology, various disturbance component escalation in public electric network, at the same time, the demand of power quality is higher and higher in the national product and life. And monitoring needs that every index of power quality is also much more larger, therefore this is an important research subject about protecting electric network running and improving power quality, real time monitoring electricity parameter and analysis on the harmonic wave of electric network. Therefore, it has importantly realistic significance.Focusing on electrical network parameter monitoring of the requirement in the electric system, the paper designs a new electrical network Parameter Monitoring System Based on the NiosII which makes use of NiosII soft-core processor to achieve the real-time measurement and analysis of the basic parameters such as the voltage, current, power, frequency, harmonic and so on.Firstly, the paper expresses the principle of SOPC technology, development and background of electric power parameter monitoring system as well as electric power parameter measurement. Then two parts have emphatically discussed about design and realization of total system on aspects of hardware and software. The hardware design is centering on FPGA, primary Designed module includes the data collecting, the keyboard displaying, memory expanding, communicating and so on.The software design mainly includes several parts such as sampling module, FFT module, figure wave filtering module, keyboard and display module. First, we have designed that high speed A/D collects IP core in the field of data collecting; it can realize data of electrical network real time acquisition. In terms of harmonic analysis, in order to remove FFT frequency spectral leakage and the hurdle effect, I adopt the technique of intelligent digital phase-locked frequency multiplier to correct error. It interposes the FIR Digital Filter before FFT, so it has combined with analog low-pass, which can effectively reduce interference and improve accuracy of measurement. We adding FFT IP core, keyboard and display to SOPC Builder's component in the form of User Define external device, making these modules reused, easy to transplant. In this way, it shows the advantage of the SOPC technology design.Finally, this paper describes summarization and prospects of the research. What's more, the system has verified monitor systematic correctness and accuracy by the series of testing experiment.
