It is applied extensively on technical realm. Nowadays, we can get easily many of analysis software to deal with puzzled technical problem, such as ANSYS, MARC.Use the finite element method to analysis force.stress fields on cylinder liner is the main purpose in this article. The distribution condition of force.stress will help manager detect leakage on cylinder liner.Describe the principle and development of the finite element method, describe the function and basic structure of ANSYS software. This article analysis all loads on cylinder liner of S50 diesel engine, include force loads in cylinder while diesel engine is working. And this article uses the preprocessor of ANSYS to generate the model of 3D entity and mesh generation on cylinder liner. Mesh generators are transferred into data that will be used in finite element analysis. Passing by dealing with force and commitment, it calculates the forces on working cylinder liner. through the general postproc of ANSYS software to inspect the condition of force.stress fields on cylinder liner.
