Intelligent Buildings are usually formed by the three basic elements: Building Automation System (BAS), Communication Automation System (CAS) and Office Automation System (OAS). In these systems, the BAS is the most basic and the most important part of the Intelligent Building. The BAS is the use of computers and network technology, automatic control technology and communication technology to build a highly automated and integrated management and control systems, With the rapid development of Automation control technology and Communication technology, the new requirements are raised by People about the level of automation in buildings , the full-distributed and full-opened control architecture can have the control and management of the inside building integrated and networked. An excellent building control system shall be reliable with good performance on real-time ability and interoperability, it also should be versatile and have higher cost performance.In this paper, Considering the developing of the modern Intelligent Building Control System, and combing with today's trend of the FCS technique and the Ethernet technique, the present thesis proposes an Intelligent Building Control System which adopts the OPC technique by combining with the FCS technique and Ethernet technique. The building control system is characterized by: Building a multi-FCS can achieve the good control of various subsystems , and the controlling system can achieve the local control of the building, at the same time expand the Internet to achieve the remote monitoring. The control network of BAS is divided into administration layer, supervision layer and field equipment layer. Taking into account BAS includes a number of subsystems, Therefore, Through the built-in OPC server to meet the needs of a number of subsystems in real-time interaction, using configuration software to design the monitoring interface of subsystem, so composing the building control system which is flexible to be configurated and easy to extended .Adopting the VisualBasic6.0 language, developing the OPCserver by using the TuoLin OPC server Rapid Development Kit; using MCGS6.2 configuration software to design the monitored screenIn this paper, the design of intelligent building control system can achieve a network of intelligent building management, At the same time, the design of this control system can be applied not only be used in Intelligent Buildings, but also in the field of industrial automation.
