The Application Of Based On Ethernet In Substation Automation System

The paper describes the research of using Ethernet in substation automation system. Firstly, introduce some elementary conceptions and the history development & current state of substation automation system, and then on the basis of analyzing the feasibility of using Ethernet technology at the communication system in substations in determining the Ethernet communication technology. Microcomputer protection algorithms are also introduced in this paper. The paper focuses on the structure of hardware and the design of software. At the end of the paper, the anti-interference method adopted in the system design is introduced.According the special application background of this device, which used at power line protection in enterprise substation, the system used the right protective judging basis and algorithms. The system enhanced the reliability adopting the method of the three segments and grounding protective, adding the function of automatic switching on. In addition, electric energy of the digital measures IC-chip ADE7758 is used in the measuring electric energy module, which greatly enhanced measure precision,reliability and anti-interference ability. The parallel control technology between three CPU is adopted in this device, which complete data collection at high speed and process fast protocol transformation simultaneously.
