Hybrid electric vehicle is a new mode in order to facilitate market-oriented in a pure electric vehicle development process. It is a mainstream clean mode. It is not only needs less investment choice, but also high market acceptance and easy to meet future emission standards and energy conservation goals. Battery is one of the energy source of hybrid electric vehicle. In order to ensure good battery performance and extended battery cycle, and improve the battery's working performance, we need to carry out the necessary management and control the batteries. Because the battery state of charge (SOC) values directly reflect the size of the battery's state, so the most basic and most important task for the battery management system is more accurate and reliable access to SOC. Up to now, measurable parameters of the battery , such as current, voltage, temperature and resistance, have been used to estimate or revise SOC. While hybrid electric vehicles in motion, we collect these data. And the data that is good for analysis of cells under different working conditions, diagnose battery failure, more precise estimates of SOC have a great role in promoting.In this paper, we made a embedded hybrid vehicles remote diagnosis system based on monitoring electric vehicle batteries' working state, which is using GPRS-based networks and the Wavecom Q2687 wireless CPU. At first, battery management system of electric vehicle will monitor the data and sent it through the CAN bus to the wireless CPU. Then the wireless CPU Q2687 will sent the batteries' data to the Internet access network through the wireless GPRS network. At last, Real-time transmission to the remote monitoring center. Further more, the system can be used at fieldwork debugging serial port configuration , or use of SMS sent commands, remote configuration of the system. It improve the efficiency of the car battery monitoring, and reduces maintenance costs, also expand the scope of the monitoring.Q2687 Wireless CPU is embedded ARM9 processor, and it integrate wireless module and CPU module into one, so it simplified the system's hardware structure, improved antijamming system. Since it's strong portability, small size, it is more suitable for automotive embedded systems. The system is simple, high portability, and strong anti-interference. It can transmitted the batteries' data while it is working through the GPRS network real-time.Control Center is responsible for receiving data from Internet, then analyzing data, storing data, and real-time alarm. For the purpose of maintenance of batteries better, the system has made the diagnosis through the network technology of automotive, monitored batteries' status in the remote.
