Based On The Gprs Wireless Remote Meter Reading System Design And Research

Abstract The paper elaborated the organization of the GPRS network and the design process of GPRS terminal detailedly. It also designed and realized a wireless oil-field electric power meter reading system based on the GPRS technology. First, aiming at the demand of the wireless data transfer channels, this article analyzed the characteristics of several existent wireless data transfer channel design projects, and demonstrated the necessity to design the GPRS wireless data transferring terminal. According to the design requirements, it analyzed various hardware projects of the wireless data transferring terminal, and eventually the Rabbit 2000 ,which was embedded with TCP/IP packages can be chosen as the GPRS terminal hardware design project. At the same time, focusing on the special use of the GPRS terminal, detailedly analyzed several main network organization projects during the use process. then, according to its own characteristics, chosen a kind of network topology structure provided the catalogue services by the GPRS terminal provider. After the detailed introduce of the GPRS terminal hardware design based on Rabbit 2000,this paper gives circuit diagram of main units. According to the network organizing project and the characteristic of this GPRS terminal, its software system is written and introduced the flow chart of several main units. Finally, the design realized DaQing oil-field electric power wireless meter reading system based on GPRS and the process method and result of meter reading data.
