As the skeleton of large machinery,metal Structural strength is the key of machinery and equipment safely and reliably operating.With the machinery and equipment developping toward the large,heavy and high-speed direction,it requires machinery and equipment with higher security and so highlights the structural strength requirements.Stress-strain test is an important means of testing the mechanical structure strength,but the practical application of the stress detection system uses the way of detecting regularly and wired data transmission.With Sophisticated and development of monitoring technology,embedded technology, communications,networks,especially the in-depth study on engineering information detection technique,traditional monitoring display system has been increasingly unable to meet the requirements of industrial information time.Intelligent sensing technology,multi-function monitoring system based on information technology has become the hot field,the emergence marks a beginning of a new era at the field of industrial monitoring,and it will have an important impact on the development of this field.GPRS technology is a General Packet Radio Service.It is a Transition technology from second-generation mobile communication technology(GSM technology) to the third-generation mobile communication technology(3G).It is a technology based on Global System for Mobile Communications,referred to as GSM.It provides mobile packet service for users.The aim is providing packet data services for GSM users. Applications based on this business developed.It has characteristics of rapid access, always online,flow billing,etc.It has unparalleled advantages of the remote real-time data transmission.It has high efficiency,good real-time and low cost advantages and installs Conveniently.It Can solve the problem of monitoring data or testing data collected in the wire layout.It has good maintainability and be easy to achieve network-based management.This paper analyzed the on-line monitoring theory and method of large mechanical structures stress,system hardware and software composition and analyzed system application with the real application project.
