Construction equipment which is our modern constrction machinery plays an important role in the civil, defense industry, water conservancy construction and so on. With the development of China’s economic construction and the level of technology, the status of construction machinery will be higher and higher. However, the construction machinery in the process of construction will be inevitably caused damage or shut down, traditional single mechanical detection technology is clearly no longer fit the current grim situation which is distributed a wide range of devices and owned the internal structure. The developing tendency of device detection technology includes four parts, first, how to use network technology to distribut along with a wide range of resource integration;second, how to use network technology to imply remote real-time detection to the mechanical equipment;third, how to use network to take the prevention of damage to equipment;fourth, how to use network to reduce equipment downtime. The aim of this thesis is to combine the virtual instrument technology with GPRS technology and to achieve remote real-time detection of mechanical engineering.First of all, this thesis is mainly to explain the basic concepts of network data transmission, the transmission mode and the basic principles of GPRS remote data transmission. Then, this paper makes a detailed presention to the system vibration signals in the time domain analysis, frequency domain analysis and time-frequency analysis. Finally, we make an instruction to the database-related theoretical knowledge as well as their strengths and weaknesses, on the other side we determine the application of the database in the paper and set up the structure of the database basing on the actual design of the system.We realize the remote detection of mechanical facility by building the software system based on LabVIEW and the hardware system of date acquisition, remote transmission and remote receiving. This system includes mainly vibration test modules, DataSocket remote transmission module, Web remote browsing module, GPRS remote transmission module, data management module, which can be intergrated into a meaurement and control system.Development Engineering Mechanical remote detection system, which is applied to a complex practice among the research process, includes the sensor technology, computer network technology, GPRS technology, virtual instrument technology, communication technology and other advanced technology. After finishing the completion of system development, we test date of simulation, laboratory and field experiments, and the result proves that the data can be stabilized, corrected transmited and achieve real-time detection so that the system is proved correct and effective.
