With the rapid development of automobile industry in China and abroad in advanced technology, it is the car, especially for the comfort of cars made ever-increasing demands. Thus, as the evaluation of vehicle body sealing performance (especially comfort) , more and more attention has been focus on it. Many car manufacturers have come to recognize that to solve the issue of sealing technology to improve the competitive car market one of the key technologies, therefore, it is necessary to be study them.Auto-body rubber seal in the car played a dielectric sealing, environmental isolation and the role of internal and external decoration. Rubber seal material, structure and the different manufacturing processes that directly affect their functionality, reliability and decorative, thus affecting the comfort of vehicle performance and safety performance. Therefore, the importance of car seals, vehicle performance evaluation has become an important indicator. In order to improve product design quality and efficiency of product design in the seal on the requirements of the process to ensure its functionality, reliability and decorative. Traditional empirical design method of product design is very difficult to guarantee the quality and efficiency, has been unable to meet the needs of the development of modern automotive industry. With computer technology, non-linear mechanics of materials, finite element methods and the development of computer graphics, making the product produced by deformation prior to their analysis of computer simulation has become possible, so that we can improve product quality and design efficiency and reduce development costs.In this paper, a detailed car body rubber seal structure, such as automotive sealants, rubber, as well as used cars sealing structure, such as the O-ring, oil seal and so on. And focus on the motor seal is discussed and the application of finite element simulation for their analysis, to verify in a micro-car is reasonable. This article will focus on the car seal structure to optimize the design parameters, the establishment of the geometric model and the rubber material model, and simulation analysis of the boundary conditions required. Through the use of finite element analysis software for seal compression deformation simulation. These design and research work to optimize the seal structure to provide a lot of valuable information; for body sealing, vibration noise, aerodynamic noise, the outer surface of the quality of design solutions; vehicle for further study of the compression seal deformation make a contribution to a certain extent, and comparison of theoretical and practical results of the rubber seal for parameter optimization, thus reducing development costs, improved product quality and design efficiency.
