Now with energy resources being consumed increasingly to be exhausted and environment empoison being serious gradually, wind power is paid great attention to by more and more countries as renewable resource and pollution, free energy resource. The control technologies of wind turbine generator have rapidly developed. The variable-pitch wind turbine is getting increasing recognition for its characteristics of high-efficiency and practicability.In this thesis, the variable, pitch control theoretical basis is put forward by research Oil wind turbine aerodynamic characteristics. Then mathematical model of wind turbine is established. Because wind turbine has strong nonlinear, multivariable, and other characteristics, so this thesis designed a fuzzy PI controller of variable-pitch control system to achieve good performance. And then, the system is simulated by use of Matlab, the result indicates the fuzzy PI pitch controller achieves good performance.The results show that in case of high wind speed, the generator can maintain a constant power output and make the wind turbine drive system has good flexibility.
