Hypoid gear is a special kind of bevel gears,compared to bevel gears its have larger overlap factor,smooth transmission,low impact and noise,lower center of gravity to motor vehicles,high load-bearing capacity and the advantages of long life, all this made the main reducer in the car received a wide range of applications.In the driven of hypoid gear,the offset distance is a very important parameter,from the existence of the bias,the main shaft driven gear relative offset,the hypoid gears can be used to convey the wrong room for the two-phase vertical axis rotary movement. Reducer is an important component of the main vehicle power train,and hypoid gears used in automotive main shaft reducer can reduce the installation height,thereby reducing the height of automotive chassis,to improve the smooth driving of motor vehicles and can get great facilitate to the overall layout of vehicles.The noise come from reducer is an important source of vehicle noise,reduces the noise of reducer for improving the ride comfort is very important.The smooth transmission of hypoid gears related to the bias,the value of bias in the automobile industry is selected from the experience range,it is difficult to select the most appropriate value for the bias. Therefore,to analysis the relationship of the bias and smooth driven,research a method to determine the optimum bias for lowering the noise of the main reducer is a great significance.This paper describes the main automotive hypoid gear reducer knowledge and design methods to determine the model of hypoid gear geometry parameters, establish hypoid gears three-dimensional model.By setting 5 groups from the value of bias which come from the experience range,and establish the corresponding kinematic model of the 5 groups.Respectively,dynamic motion simulation in high-speed and low speed conditions,and analysis of the movement curve of the driven gear and driving gear of the torque curve.Use the sampling and methods of mathematical statistics to process curves of the proceeds from the sample values and obtained the sample variance of the curves to determine the stability of this motion model set in this campaign under the conditions of the paper,and analysis the relationship beteen of bias and steady of hypoid gears movement.Gears at modal analysis to calculate the size of the first 30 natural frequencies,and mode shapes are listed in maps.An analysis the results is proposed to reduce the vibration of gear,as well as some of the measures in the parameters select of hypoid gears are attention.
