Study Of Chinese Modern Landscape Architecture

Nowadays, the world is communicated widely. The Western's theory or style of designing modern landscape architecture has been transmitted into China in all kinds of means, which pours new vatality into the development of Chinese landscape architecture. These theories or schools of thought have a rather far-reaching influence on the design of domestic landscape architecture, especially those new thoughts such as the theory of landscape ecology, context smriti, artistic ideas and the trend of modern aesthetic thought. They have promoted the changing of Chinese landscape architecture into a modern style.By way of documentary research, theoretically, the treatise has systematically arranged the thoughts and theories which influence our design of modern landscape architecture. It has analyzed the specific content of the thoughts and theories of modern landscape architecture designing as well as the influence on the space of modern Chinese landscape architecture. During the analysis of the space of modern landscape architecture, combining with concrete examples, it has investigated and analyzed specifically the landscape ecology which has largely caused the change of the space of modern landscaped architecture such as the theory of spatial pattern of landscape, stucturalism aesthetics, deconstuction aesthetics, minimalism arts and context thoughts, etc.On the whole, the treatise investigates the space of our Chinese modern landscape architecture mainly in two aspects—the material and non-material. The material aspect is further divided into macroscopic view and middle-scale view. In the macroscopic aspect, the theory of ecology is applied to analyze and probe the relationships among the space of our Chinese modern landscape architecture as well as that between the space of landscape architecture and other space of a city.
