| The Modem tram is a new-style land vehicle based on the development of traditional tram. The Centralized Control System (CCS) of Modem tram is the basic safeguard for entire traffic system of Modem trams normal working. CCS achieves the control of train running and dispatch management by some advanced technologies such as computer control, communication, information processing, and automation.At present, Modern tram as a new means of transport, its control technology has not been widely used in China, and the research of CCS technique for Modem trams is still in the blank. This paper first elaborates the running mechanism of modern trams system. On this basis, it also studies the basic functional requirements of tramcar running control system and the relationship among the various subsystems. The software of CCS was designed and the basic functions of CCS, such as trains management and message communication were implemented. The simulation environment was constructed and functional verification for CCS was implemented.Research work in this thesis is focused on the followings:Firstly, the functional requirement of Operation Control System (OCS) was analyzed based on the general instruction of OCS. The overall structure of CCS and the interfaces between CCS and other sub-system of OCS were designed with the technique of CCS for Modem trams.Secondly, in view of the modern trams characteristic, proposed the modern trams OCS various sub-systems design proposal.Thirdly, he overall structure of the software for CCS was designed. The software of logic control and message communication of CCS was designed.Fourthly, the simulation environment applied to experiment was constructed. The software of Side Track System and Vehicle On-Board System were designed.Finally, based on the build simulation environment, designed has tested the plan take the Modem trams as the application background CCS experiment, has realized to the CCS principle prototype function simulation confirmation.
