Modern tram is an important trend of the future urban rail transit. Compared with traditional ones, modern tram has many advantages such as large volume, transfer easy, fast, energy saving and low noise. In this thesis,taking the modern tram as the application object, the key technology involved in vehicle operation control subsystem (VOCS) is analyzed and software of VOCS was developed. The main research points are as follows:Firstly, by analyzing the running process of modern tram, the functional requirements of modern tram operational control subsystem were analyzed.Secondly, the functional decomposition scheme of modern tram operational control subsystem was given,and then the interface relationship among vehicle, control center, wayside operation control subsystem,and other subsystem was defined. Furthermore the VOCS software was designed.Thirdly, the simulation environment was constructed including wayside operation control subsystem, console and HMI. The software of modern tram VOCS was developed.Finally, based on the simulation environment, the debugging of modern tram VOCS was completed.The results show that the VOCS software proposed in this thesis meet the requirements of the running processes.
