With the development of communication,network,automation and embedded technology,industrial communication in modem induction motor monitoring system is becoming more prominent.In current control system,industrial control interface and fieldbus are mainly used as communication,but these two means are obviously inadequate at transmission distance,bandwidth and open communication.To address above issues,Ethernet is introduced into AC drive system.Ethernet has many advantages such as high-speed transmission,low-power consumption,easy installation and compatibility,so that motor control can get out of space limitation and achieve connection seamlessly with management network.From the aspect of open and real-time communication,the UDP protocol as communication method and induction motor as an object,this thesis make use of Matlab simulation technic,DSP technic and CPLD technic.First,the UDP protocol was select because of its higher efficiency;and the optimal SVPWM was selected by simulation.Second,developed and debugged the hardware of the prototype,including control circuit,main circuit,display circuit.Third,the communication function,motor control function and status display function are achieved.The communication function,motor control function and status display function are verified by sufficient experiments.Experiment result shows that the control signal and status information can be transported between PC and the controller and experiment result have proved the effectiveness of the proposed optimal control scheme and communication system.
