Aircraft battery plays an essential part in aircraft safety.The condition of the battery must be verified in order assure its capacity is airworthy,so all aircraft battery require checking and maintenance in order to ensure their safety of operation when installed and their ability to perform their required functions, especially in emergency conditions on board the aircraft.According to the practical need,it studies the character,modes of the aviation battery charging and discharging,and make the market research of relevant devices,then proposes a design approach for the aviation battery discharging charging analyzer which based on the virtual instruments technology.The system sets PC machine as the core controller,completing the data acquisition,controlling,calculation and memory.The lower machine achieves the charging and discharging of the battery.The communication between the upper and lower parts is through the data acquisition card and IGBT controller driver module, the card feedbacks the voltage and current signals to the PC,and the driver module sends the controlling signal to the lower machine.The software of system makes full use of the LabVIEW's advantages in signal acquisition,measurement and graphical display,achieves the test of single-cell battery voltages and the current of charging and discharging.The system integrates the data acquisition technology,computer technology,modern control and measure technology together,can achieve the auto-dis&scharging,deep discharging,residual capacity test of the battery,and auto-report the test result.Through testing in practice,it manifests that the manipulation of this system is friendly operation, shows the flexible and easy up grading characters of the virtual instrument,so this device has highly practical value and is worth to be widely applied in the field of aviation battery maintenance and repair.
