Since China entered the development stage of rapid urbanization, the confliction between development and urban infrastructure, urban traffic facilities in particular, has become increasingly conspicuous. With its large capacity, fast speed, safe and reliable technology, urban rail transit has already become an important scheme to ease traffic jams. Along with the economic development and the improvement of living standards, the vibration and noise of the urban rail transit attracts attention to the relevant departments. Some positive steps have already been taken to reduce the impact of the vibration and noise.In this paper, the sound pressure level of each frequency of NO.5 subway line noise is presented through the long-term research on it and test data in Yonghegong Station. This also provides a firm basement for the following research of the noise control. To obtain the insert loss under different conditions and the efficiency of both practical and economical, the influence of both the sound-absorbing material used and the height of the platform screen door changed is estimated by using the software RAYNOISE. At last, proposals for noise control of Huangzhuang railway platform is presented based on former analysis and conclusion which is also a combination of noise control methods of both domestic and abroad.
