Nowadays, China's railway system and urban transportation system develop quickly. As the joint of railway system and urban transportation system, railway passenger station develops quickly, too. And it develops to railway passenger integrated transport hub. Whether the planning, design, construction, operation of railway passenger integrated transport hub is reasonable or not decides the efficiency of urban passenger transportation system and the efficiency of the whole urban integrated traffic system. The capacity of railway passenger integrated transport hub is the foundation to achieve its primary function, especially its transfer capacity. However, looking to the current international and domestic researches on this issue, little takes the capacity of railway passenger integrated transport hub into consideration. Therefore it is meaningful to study on this problem.This paper, gives out the definition of railway passenger integrated transport hub and clears its functions; establishes the component of the capacity of railway passenger integrated transport hub according to the traffic modes it contains, and gives out the calculating methods of each single capacity; studies how to match the single capacities when the transfer happens between traffic modes; studies the integrated transfer capacity of railway passenger integrated transport hub on the basis of the studies above; builds an evaluation system based on Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method to evaluate the transfer capacity of railway passenger integrated transport hub. Specific studies as follow:First, this paper studies the single capacity of railway passenger integrated transport hub: gives out the definition of railway passenger integrated transport hub and clears its functions; makes sure the components of the capacity according to the traffic modes it contains, including: the railway passenger transport capacity, the urban mass transit transport capacity, the bus passenger transport capacity and the capacities of transfer facilities; gives out the caculating methods of each single capacity.Second, this paper studies how to match single capacities when the transfer happens between traffic modes: analyzes the type of transfer, focus on the transfer between railway and urban mass transit, the transfer between railway and bus and the transfer between urban mass transit and bus; studies it from the sight of capacity-matching and time-fixing; gives out the caculating methods and gives a case study. Third, this paper studies the integrated transfer capacity of railway passenger integrated transport hub: gives out the definition of integrated transfer and integrated transfer organization; discusses on the connotation of integrated transfer organization and its principles; proposes the models of transfer organization integration and capacity match of various transport modes and gives a case study.Finally, this paper studies the evaluation system and evaluation method of the transfer capacity of railway passenger integrated transport hub: builds evaluation system, explains the evaluation indexes, establishs evaluation method based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and gives a case with the Beijing West Railway Station and Beijing Railyway Station.
