Traditional evaluation methods of Weapons and Equipment SoS combat capability do not describe the effect of SoS architecture sufficiently. They emphasize in quantifying the single equipment or system's quantity and quality factors, and then aggregating them. It is of great significance to evaluate and analyze the SoS's combat capability based on its architecture.The connectivity of SoS's weapons and equipment is the capability of the composing systems in SoS questing, obtaining and offering information supporting, command and control under the combat requirement. Connectivity is an important content of SoS's combat capability. This dissertation gives a study on the technology framework of the SoS's connectivity evaluation, the SoS's connectivity evaluation method based on the Matrix Spectrum-norm and the Spanning Tree. The main works are as follows:i. The method of using directed-graph to model the SoS's architecture is given, which references the method of constituting architecture product in DoD AF(Department of Defense SoS Architecture); the connectivity of SoS is an important content of SoS's combat capability evaluation, the basic concept and characteristic of the connectivity of SoS's are studied; the characters and requests of the SoS's connectivity evaluation are analyzed, and the technical framework of SoS's connectivity evaluation based on the directed-graph model is built.ii. The definition of the SoS's connectivity, and also the concept and character of Matrix Spectrum-norm are given; the method of constituting connectivity-matrix based on adjacency matrix, weight matrix and interaction quality matrix is given; the Matrix spectrum-norm of connectivity-matrix as the index of SoS's connectivity is selected, and the calculation method of the Matrix spectrum-norm of connectivity-matrix is given.iii. The basic concept on Spanning Tree of directed-graph, Spanning Tree Matrix and in-degree matrix are present; the sum of quantity of Spanning Trees as the index of SoS's connectivity is selected, the definition and the calculation method of the sum of Spanning Trees are present; the interaction strategies of Node Load Equilibrium and Link Load Equilibrium are researched; the algorithm of enumerating spanning trees is proposed and the analysis method of optimizing connection path of SoS based on the min-rank Spanning Tree and max-rank Spanning Tree is given.Data in the dissertation is from public without secret.
