Pressure vessel is a kind of special accident-prone equipment which is commonly used in industrial production equipment. The material it needs should meet some specific characteristics like certain intensity, stiffness, durability and so on. Hence the cost and the price of materials are much higher than the ordinary ones. To pursue greater profits, many companies are making great efforts in the scientific management and the utilization rate of the excess stock. But the excess stock management has not been contained within the information management which lead to the non-management status has been the bottleneck of enterprise information.The paper bases on a certain energy and environmental enterprise in Jiangxi Province to develop excess stock information system. It focuses on the match of the excess stock and the optimization of the excess stock to meet the needs of manufacturing enterprises as much as possible.First of all, the author sets up a model of material information by using a series of characteristics to improve the match accuracy and efficiency .Then the author argues that there are two steps in the match of the excess stock:Firstly, the regular matching should be done based on main parameters like size and area of excess stock to fulfill the expreliminary match and save computer material and improve the matching efficiency.Secondly, it is expected to make a fuzzy match to choose the best excess stock from various materials.
