The Research And Development Of Design Type-selection System For The Piston Compressor

The compressor is one kind of driven fluid general machinery which is used to transport gas and improve the gas pressure. It has many types and is applied extremely widely. According to the requirement of Wuxi Compressor Co.Ltd., a design type-selection system for the piston compressor was developed in this paper by using Visual Basic programming language and SQL Server database.This paper starts from the situation of compressor industry, analyzes the development level of design software for the compressor in domestic and foreign enterprises, and analyzes the necessity and feasibility of developing the design type-selection system of the piston compressor. Based on the basic design theory of piston compressor and demands of the company, this paper is mainly about the construction , which is divided into system analysis, system structure and function module, of design type-selection system for the piston compressor. This system not only has basic safe encryption function but also has six main function modules as follows: user management module, medium physical property calculation module, thermal calculation module, dynamic calculation module and design type-selection module and force diagram of curves module. Based on these, it uses SQL Server to create the database and data sheets of the data management, the programming has realized the piston compressor design calculation function and the design type-selection function through Visual Basic, and it changes company existing design method of the person of edition, raises the design calculation efficiency and meets the design type-selection requirements. At the same time, using the force diagram of curves intuitive to judge design calculation results'rationality visually omits the trouble in the manual verification. Finally, the results of detailed calculations in the form of Excel statements are available to the designers to give full play to the form processing power of Excel. VB, SQL Server and Excel are combined together in the system and the function of design type-selection is realized, piston compressor goes forward on a big step in the design type-selection technology.This system is simple, easy-to-use, practical, and has adopted a practical example, the system can meet the business-to-piston compressor design type-selection requirements, and provides a powerful tool on improving the design efficiency, shortening product delivery time for enterprises and improving market responsiveness and competitiveness, so it has an important practical value and far-reaching practical significance for quick and efficient completing the design type-selection of piston compressor.
