| Effects of the old asphalt mixture and waste rubber on the environment and ecology are analyzed and the mechanism of asphalt aging and recycling is studied. For the reuse of waste, the recycling agent of aged asphalt mixture is developed based on the mechanism ofmicrowave treatment for rubber. And then its application is researched further.Diseases of asphalt pavement are caused by asphalt aging to great extent. With the extension of service life, aging is more and more serious and ductility of asphalt decreases greatly. In the first several service years, it decreases sharply, and then slowly. The result of asphalt aging is that thermal energy makes the chemical bond rupture, and lively carbon atoms becomes aldehyde, ketone or acid with the attack of oxygen. At the same time, disulfide bond turns into sulfoxide. As a result, the polarity of asphalt molecular, viscosity and stiffness increase. In the course of developing recycling agent of asphalt, we should harmonic components based on the theory of compatibility and rubber structure. Tests show that microwave treatment can effectively increase the flexibility of rubber molecule chain and improve the compatibility with aged asphalt. With the help of orthogonal design, reasonable ratio of raw material and process conditions are determined. The recycling agent is developed, which can effectively restore the macroeconomic performance and microstructure of aged asphalt. So it can meet the need of asphalt mixture recycling. Additionally, it use waste rubber as raw material, so it has a good price advantage. |
