China’s highway network has been gradually formed, in order to stimulate the economy, convenient living, linkage and other urban and rural areas plays an increasingly important role. Road construction not only provide convenience to people’s lives, and comfortable traffic environment, but also the rapid development of the logistics industry today, become connected to the market and people’s lives channels meet in the realization of material life, people increasingly value the quality of life, also on the quality of service and performance road surface of a higher demand. However, the value of quality of life due to the proliferation of private cars plus transport efficiency, road to bear more pressure, coupled with the seasonal frozen region’s special climate and environment, road surface more and more frequent fatigue damage, structural damage and a series of road problems, and reduce the life and service road to building life long highway road presented a huge challenge, but also greatly increases the cost of road maintenance and repair. Given the grim situation of road surface construction in seasonal frozen region faces, the paper improve road life to achieve a full cycle frozen area road pavement into the optimization of thinking, to achieve the frozen area road asphalt pavement construction planning and design. Because of the vast territory, large differences in different regions, the structural design requirements also vary widely, therefore, select special seasonal frozen area of Liaoning Province as a representative sample, a reasonable structure design, logical order with the relevant design highlights are shown below.Firstly, the investigation from the start, select Liaoning Province road as the main research scope, we analyzed the typical operating environment of its roads, traffic load composition and characteristics of asphalt pavement damage. And foreign long-life asphalt pavement design, combined with our current asphalt pavement design, checking index, made of long-life asphalt pavement design processes and design specifications.Meanwhile, Liaoning Province seasonal frozen region is characterized by an important reference, proposes to Build a frost layer, etc., tailored, reasonable design.Secondly, in order to verify, promote indoor research, learn from the successful experience at home and abroad, in both design ideas as a starting point, proposed three long-life asphalt pavement structure in line with the seasonal frozen region of Liaoning Province, traffic conditions and climate characteristics, respectively, from improved semi-rigid and rigid-angle idea of starting their own characteristics and advantages.Finally, the applicability and effect of the three long-life pavement structure in orderto verify the proposed paper G101 selected as a test of some sections of the road for field testing, and the test results were analyzed by comparing the three long-life pavement road pavement The structure of the applicability and merits of Liaoning Province, in reference to the life of the pavement structure design, Liaoning governor, but also for the full implementation of the promotion season frozen head life pavement structure provides a theoretical basis and practical experience.
