High-speed railway in developed nations of the world adopt electric traction, it's no exception for our country. By the right of its advantage, AT power supply is widely used in high-speed railway in many developed countries, such as France and Japan, and so on. All-parallel AT power supply system is used in high-speed railway construction in our country.By reasons of low technological level and management level, the fault ratio of traction electric network in our country is higher than other developed countries. Our railroads lack design management experience of passenger special line, so researching the electrical model of power supply system at great length is beneficial to raise the design management level.According to the characteristics of AT power supply system, combining with electrical construction scheme of high-speed railway, All-parallel AT power supply system is studied intensively in this paper, an equivalent circuit and a simulation model of the power supply system for passenger special line are proposed. Protective wire and rail are equivalent to a single line combining theory with project practice, the equivalent circuit is derived from primary circuit of traction electric network. It can be used to calculate the impedance of traction electric network conveniently, supplying the basis of line protection setting. Referring to Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou Line, the simulation model is built on MATLAB/SIMULINK software platform. In the case of Catenary-Rail short circuit, Catenary-Positive Feeder short circuit, and the grounding fault with Positive Feeder interrupted, this paper analyzes the impedance of traction electric network, voltage of feeder line, short-circuit current and the rail potential to ground. Moreover, the distribution of traction electric network current and the distribution of returning current to traction substation and are shown under the condition of normal operation.
