All company focuses on the performance of employees. A long-term development needs a good internal performance evaluation and an objective performance reflection to improve and enhance the organization and staffs' performance. Especially to the project design enterprises that belonging to the knowledge-intensive enterprise, whose primary knowledge workers are the source to maintain sustainable development and competitiveness, and establish corporate's image. Improving the performance evaluation system of knowledge workers is the effective measure to improve the performance of staff and even more to enhance overall performance all of the organization.Based on the analysis of employees' performance evaluation of existing methods and models home and abroad, this paper study for the project designers' performance evaluation. The main researches are as follows:1. Starting from knowledge worker theory, this paper analyzes knowledge workers' characteristics including project designers; staff's performance evaluation by system theory; project designers' work characteristics according to the actual situation, sums up the difficulties of project designers' performance evaluation and made measures to deal with. Based on this, this paper constructs the model of project designers' performance, and the model uses Project-unit to assess to reflect personality and adjustable dynamic.2. In the current index system of performance, according to the system theory and work characteristics, this paper adds assessment of critical control point in working process, and established the index system for the project designers' work characteristics, which are established appropriate evaluation criteria in four respects: process control, performance results , work ability, and work attitude.3. This paper establishes a Set Pair Analysis (SPA) model for quantify the evaluation results, uses a combination of SPA and 360 degree assessment to reflect the project designers' performance, and displays the assessment results of SPA by radar map. 4. This paper applies the model of project designers' performance evaluation based on SPA to a exist project, and verifies the model's availability on analysis of the application effect.Based on the above main research, the study of the thesis is useful to project designers' performance evaluation.
