The elevator is the vehicle which is closely associated with our daily life. With the increasing of the quantity of elevator, the great energy consumption of elevator has attracted the close attention of the society as well as the government. Therefore, to develop reasonable methods of measurement and evaluation of energy consumption of elevator are not only helpful to provide ways for companys to know the condition of energy consumption of elevator and to provide basis for customers to choose energy-saving elevator, but also to provide technical support for the government to carry on reviewal and supervision towards energy consumption of elevator, which are of important guidance to prompt the development and popularization of energy-saving elevator. Regarding those aims, this paper mainly carried on the work as follows:Firstly, the compositions and performance characteristics of energy consumption of traction elevator are introduced, the influence of servicing conditions and configuration parameters of elevator to energy consumption are analyzed. According to the relationship between running energy consumption and parameters, such as travel distance, load, running direction and start and stop location, and combining the law of elevator running, reasonable partition is done to elevator running energy consumption. The course of measurement of energy consumption of elevator is simplified through developing the relationship between the partitions and the mentioned parameters. The energy consumption of elevator under various operational conditions could be calculated according to the testing data of energy consumption under specified operational conditions by MATLAB. As a result, the method of measurement of energy consumption of traction elevator is developed. To verify the validity of this method, a set of tests were designed and compared. Secondly, the choosing method and the condition of passenger flow of elevator are introduced, and the influence of related factors to energy consumption of elevator is analyzed. Based on the aim of evaluation of energy consumption of elevator, the concept of"standard elevator model"is proposed. Then the standby power and the comprehensive energy efficiency factor of elevator are proposed as evaluation parameters of energy consumption of elevator. Furthermore, the mathematical model of the comprehensive energy efficiency factor of elevator is proposed.Meanwhile, the condition of energy consumption of hydraulic elevator is introduced, and the influence of some related parameters to energy consumption is analyzed. Based on the relationships which are developed between the related parameters and energy consumption, the method of measurement of energy consumption of hydraulic elevator is proposed. Here, we evaluate energy consumption of hydraulic elevator by method of evaluation of energy consumption of traction elevator.Finally, the condition of energy consumption of escalator is introduced and the influence of some related parameters to energy consumption is analyzed. According to running characteristics, the method of measurement of energy consumption of escalator is proposed and some suggestions about evaluation of energy consumption of escalator are proposed. |
