Machine is a major component of the workshop. It hold the largest proportion of the Total fixed assets in the enterprise. With the increasing technical content, the increasing cost of the design and manufacturing, and the increasing cost of buy modern machines, there will more increasing investment on machine. Therefore, the operation of the machine, which is good or not, has a major impact on enterprise.When using machine, we usually need to choose it in accordance with the part processing. Currently, most of the enterprises choose machine by virtue of worker's experience. However, the artificial selection of machine has too much emphasis on the main factors. So it sometimes occur the larger deviations which will cause the waste of resource, the increasing of production cost, speeding up the machine's wear and tear. With the rapid development of information technology, more and more enterprise starts to use Manufacturing Execution System. This article is written in the background of the Manufacturing Execution System's application environment of the NC workshop. And it uses the NC equipment as its background. The main content is how to establish the information model and synthetic capability description of NC equipment. So it solves many questions that artificial selection can't solve. The main content and innovation are as follows:The article establishes a feature information model of the NC equipment which Meet the different needs of the productive sector. It also set up the equipment's type and the equipment's management level. And then the article designs a set of code system for the equipment. Then it gives the code bits' encoded interpretation.The article builds matching and matching rules between the processing characteristics of parts and the geometric characteristics of the equipment. And it makes the feature matching between parts and equipment more simplify.The capability matrix is designed to describe equipments' manufacturing capability for part type and material. The matrix is used for the initial choice of equipment. This article establishes an appraising method of digital manufacturing equipments' manufacturing capability by using the technology of analytical hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. And the article builds a system for the evaluation factors. It uses analytical hierarchy process to determine the scientific weight of each factor. And it also summarized up how to obtain the property values and the standardized methods. By virtue of the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, we can get the numerical size of the equipment capacity. So we can choose the best equipment to process parts and give the reasonable order to the equipment.Based on the information model, it establishs system's framework and function models and develops a prototype of the equipment evaluation system. And the system application in the enterprise has achieved good results.
