Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Of Urban Roads And Signalized Intersection Level Of Service

This paper began with the traffic jam situation in civil cities, summarized the internal and external evaluation approaches of service level at present, then used the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to confirm the main factors and weight numbers, which influence the level of services in arterial street and controlled intersection junction, put forward a new approach called fuzzy evaluation and defined an aggregative index ZH and computation method. This approach was easy to operate, short-cut and practical. Finally, an example was presented.
