Since the founding of new China, tremendous achievements have been made in electromechanical irrigation and drainage ,and the number of pumping stations is the first in the world.However, most of the pumping station were built between 1960s and 1970s.Due to limition of technique and economy, there were large numbers of problems, such as the unreasonable plan, inaccurate selection of equipment ,inefficsent technical management and so on. There are a lot of problems in project and equipment ageing , units extended-operated service for considerable numbers of the pumping stations. More than 18 billion Yuan(RMB) will be invested in rebuilding over 1500 largescale pumping stations during the period of the 11th FiveYear Plan,parts of the reconstructed stations have been in force.The research on the system of evaluation index and comprehensive evaluation method will provide foundation for reconstruction of largescale pumping stations and modernization construction.Based on fuzzily integrated evaluation,analytic hierarchy process and expert appraise,evaluation system of pumping station engineering was studied. The main contents include:The first,using fuzzy mathematics method to establish evaluation index system and to determine degrees of evaluation criterion for quantitative and qualitative index.The second,in order to determine the importance of each index ,adapting AHP of automatic adjustment as well as expert appaise to analyse the hierarchical relation and importance elements.The third,a large pumping station comprehensive evaluation system was established using Delphi 7.0 software. There is a good human-computer interface in the software. When marked with unnecessary indexes, the weighing can be made adjustment. Therefore, there is a fair commonality, practicability and operability.The fourth,taking a pumping station as an example to make a comprehensive assesment and testify the scientificalness and practicability of the research result.The systemic research of evaluation equipments and buildings were made.The research results could be refered for the evaluation of projects of pump stations.
