Study On Application Of NovaChip Technique In Preventive Maintenance Of Jinzhubei Expressway Pavement

Pavement preventive maintenance(PPM) is a program strategy adopting the right treatment for pavement preservation, intended to arrest light pavement failures, delay pavement performance deterioration, and reduce the need for routine maintenance and rehabilitation. It maintains the pavement in good condition in order to ensure good pavement ride quality and prolong pavement life. The key of pavement preventive maintenance technique is to choose the optimal timing and the right treatment for pavement based on its condition.NovaChip^? is a new type project of pavement maintenance. It was put forward for great traffic loading and high pavement performance of high type pavement. It was mainly used for preventive maintenance and treatment of high type asphalt and concrete pavement, at the same time, it also was used for surface wear layer.The paper combinates of a specific applications in Jingzhu highway, it's analyzed mainly on the survey of traffic prior to the implementation of NovaChip^? program, technical requirements and the selection of raw materials, design of mixture ratio, Investigating the disease and disposal in original road, the technical requirements and selection on construction machinery, construction craft and the key technologies,ect. It provided a wealth of practical experienced technical advice and technical guidance for the surrounding region as well as preventive conservation of the national highway by the application of Jingzhu highway.
