Nowadays, with the wide use of network and modern information technology, manufacturingtechnology is striding forward the age of information technology from traditional technologycharacterized by machine. The management of discrete manufacturing workshop is complex, sothere is a pressing need to manage manufacturing process with information technology. In orderto realize information management, the data in Work Field must be collected Real-Time firstly.In this thesis, a data collection and analysis/processing system for discrete manufacturingworkshop is designed, which can collect BAR CODE data, RFID data and operation parametersof CNC Machine, analysis and process the data collected. Main contents including:Chapter I introduces the source, the task and the contents of this thesis. The research statusof its related areas is also discussed as well as its architecture.Chapter II introduces the features, the problems and the MES of discrete manufacturingworkshop, analysises the data type of the workshop, design the whole architecture and functionmodel of the system.Chapter III introduces four parts of the data collection system, including the wireless datacollection system, RFID data collection system, the preparation station data collection systemand operation parameters of CNC Machine collection system.Chapter IV analysises and processes the data collected from the data collection system, gettingthe statistics of the production schedule and quality, and visual monitoring the NC workshop.Chapter V introduces the application of this system in a blade workshop in HTC, analysisesthe needs of blade the workshop and introduces the operation of the system.Chapter VI summarizes the whole thesis and looks ahead into further research anddevelopment.
