As market competition becomes more intense, in order to meet the personalized needs ofcustomers,manufacturing industry has to change the mode of production from make-to-stockto make-to-order. In this new production mode, how to meet the order as demanded on timebecomes the key for the enterprise to be unbeaten in the market. As a result, more and moreenterprises choose to use information management system. The using of ERP system couldhave these problems: data input bottleneck and the lack of real-time information productionactivities. These problems lead to the phenomenon such as unreasonable resource allocation,improper production management and long fulfillment cycle. A manufacturing executionsystem concept based on RFID is proposed. It can achieve the functions such as intelligentdata entry, information transparency and production control in time. It has reached theproduction process of information management.According to the manufacturing execution system existing function models and demandfrom the enterprise, a manufacturing execution system based on the RFID technology hasbeen designed. The system focused on the research about data collection and hand lingmethods. It analysed and designed a database. moreover, the system designed each functionalmodel in detail.Because of the particularity of enterprise production process, the article focused on theresearching and solving the following problems.(1) Data acquisition technology of manufacturing execution system. Duo to thedispersion and concurrency of production data, it has studied the distribution characteristics ofthe data terminal, communication integration technology, and database interaction, e tc.(2) Data matched pattern. ERP interface standard has been designed. It can realize dataintegration which from different ERP levels. The MES data can be written into related datatables in ERP system, and generate reports to meet the requirements of enterprise data.(3)The generation of site work plan. According to the weekly bill of lading, it can modifythe production quantity at any time and automatically change the related requirements.Workshop production scheduling has been generated by the order, walkthrough planautomatically and arrangement of commencement and completion time of every work.(4)Site work handling. According to the requirement of the enterprise, the system canachieve job processing such as partial, restructuring and repair. It can realize seamless ordertrack, each job can be ended at any processing step number and work, without loss of materialidentification, data correspondence.(5) Site quality management and data entry. The inspection requirements can be checkedon site data terminal, the quality data can be recorded on site. The system has been worked in this enterprise. It has helped to solve the black box ofworkshop management and improve the ability of delivering on time.
