Sail-assisted Ship requires high measurement accuracy on wind, because the control of sailing upwind angle depends on the detection of wind direction, while coordinated control of power for sail-assisted system and the main propulsion system is closely related to wind speed measurement. However, the current wind direction and wind speed measuring devices do not consider the influence that the change of sensor position to metrical accuracy.In this paper, the main factors which affect measurement accuracy of wind speed and wind direction in the state of moving ship is analyzed. Through experimental, the influence that the change of sensor slope angle played on the metrical results of wind speed and wind direction is analyzed.And with a large number of experimental data for statistical analysis, the measurement error correction algorithm is identified.And in this paper a variety of measurement methods and principles of wind speed and wind speed is analyzed.And the characteristics of measuring devices is discussed. A simple test platform for ultrasonic measurement of wind speed and wind direction is constructed in the laboratory, in this design,the measurement errors of wind speed and wind direction through experimental data which caused by changes in the slope angle of the sensor is analyzed, on this basis, we also analyze the relationship between the change in slope angle of ultrasonic sensors on multiple directions and the measurement error of wind speed and wind direction the direction, the fitting curve between the error and the slope angle is gotten; at the same time, the statistical analysis about the relationship between the slope angle of the ultrasonic sensors changes and the measurement error of wind direction and wind speed in any point of space is done, and the measurement error compensation model of space slope angle is established. Finally, through analysis a large number of experiments, it have been verified the effectiveness and credibility of the compensation algorithm. This text uses XL2000 C51 experimental box to design the hardware system of measurement error correction device, and the software programming of compensation algorithm is done.Finally, the measurement error compensation of wind direction and wind speed is realized.After the wind direction and wind speed measurements are dealed with the error compensation, it has been sufficed the sail-assisted ship on the wind metrical accuracy.
