With the development of information management technology, there are more and more systems applied to power system, such as management information system (MIS), Geographic Information System (GIS) and so on. And Electric-power field-checkout is to check electric-power-meter running on the power field to assure the meter working regularly, which includes field-checking and internal management. It's one of the most important tasks of the power system. And old ways of field-checkout have limit the accuracy and efficiency, it must be innovated for more automatic and intelligent.In this thesis, we analyze the current situation of electric-power-meter field-checkout system and smart grid technology. Then we design an intelligent electric-power field-checkout management and analysis system to make innovation to current system. By using web service mechanism, we implement mutual data transfer between our system and MIS system based on heterogeneous platform, and further cut down data redundancy of previous interface between these two systems. Then we introduce a checkout task allocation mechanism by using roadway information from GIS system to improve the efficiency of field-checkout process. And by using data warehouse and data mining technology, we utilize the massive historical data for further analysis to give suggestion of improving power quality to decision makers.Design and implementation of the system are further discussed in detail, and the system performance has been tested, the results have shown that it performs well.
