Applying the variable mess energy transformation and storage technology(VMET) to the solar energy absorption refrigeration system, using solar energy to heat the solution directly to let the solution circulate naturally. The collected solar energy is converted to the solution chemical potential energy and stored in the tanks. First the dynamic mathematical models of the each module were established for researching the relationship of the working parameters with the time in the system. And then for the example of the villa in Shanghai, the operation characteristics of the solar powered energy storage refrigeration system were obtained by computer numerical simulation. Finally two methods of condensation were compared. It shows that it can improve the efficiency of the solar collectors by decrease the temperature difference in heat transfer and decrease the electricity consumption by pumpless circulation. And also the disagreement between solar energy and demand load is adjusted. In addition, it needs more collector area than water cooler by reduce the collector efficiency in the wind cooler under the same situation. And the variation of COP with outer parameters were discussed.Because of the inefficiency of the solar energy it needs more collector area and more place for the system. In spite of the high initial cost it still has considerable superiority to be spread because of its energy saving and environment protection. Finally, it advises that the system need to be optimized and improved in collector area, configuration of the pipes and solution tank to achieve the better characteristic and economic benefit.
