With the continuous development of urban rail transit, transfer station traffic busy network traffic has increased. Meanwhile transfer passenger accounted for a large proportion in itself. Facility capacity is the key factor for passenger flow go through smoothly.This paper summarizes the characteristics of different forms of transfer station and. the application conditions. Analyses the facility for its capacity, design requirements, service levels and etc. Study passengers going through the facilities action and behavior.Zhichunlu station is taken as an example. Observe the number of passenger flow. Evaluate the facility capacity through adaptability, safety and convenience. Giving advices to the bottleneck facility in order to make the flow smooth. Model the station making use of Vissim. Simulate the platykurtic and peak hour similarly. Use the model to observe the flow go through the facility after take the improving measure. Put forward advices to transfer station facility.Interchange model is built by use of Vissim software. Simulate the passenger situation of platykurtic and peak hour. Put forward advice through contrast of present and improved situation. The change of average walking time can lead to the conclusion that improve the facility of bottleneck is available. At the same time, rational operation can also reduce walking time at a certain extent.
