With the development of high-speed railway and urban rail transit,high-speed rail network and urban rail transit network are being built and constantly improved, both as the main transport mode of a city for foreign travel and domestic travel, the transfer and convergence between which two will become the research focus at present stage. High-speed rail station as a hub between the two nodes transfer, the organization of streamline in station, transfer settings and facilities, operating results of interchanges are keys of successful hub planning. The basis of the above study is that characteristics and properties of high-speed rail transfer facilities and Passenger Flow. The efficient operation of the transfer system is based on the research and interaction between elements of the transfer system components. In this paper, high-speed rail transit transfer feature, transfer facility characteristics and other transfer basis were analyzed. Considering high-speed rail passenger arriving concentratedly, in different categories(age, gender, luggage situation, whether own track IC card, etc.), and Passenger Flow continuous input time intervals, analysis the transfer services(fare collection facilities, security facilities) by capacity and build compute model, create a dynamic evaluation system for the entire transfer condition evaluation. Based on the above studies, combined with examples of Xi’an North Railway Station, process VISSIM pedestrian simulation to Xi’an high-speed rail north station transfer of urban rail transit and parameters calibration, to evaluate the effects of the transfer operation, to identify bottlenecks transfer, to give optimization program, and to improve overall efficiency and high-speed rail service and transfer ability of urban rail transit transfer system. The study conclusions and methods will provide a reference for future integrated design of hub railway station in urban rail transit transfer facilities.
