The Study Of Assessment Of Urban-rural Integration Of Gansu Provence

The urban-rural integration theory abroad brings out the necessity and superiority to achieve the integration of urban and rural. For example, as materialism dialectical represented by Marx and Engels thinks that the urban-rural integration is the inevitable result of productive forces development. In the long history of human development, the development between urban and rural areas experienced three stages:Urban and rural interdependence—Urban and rural separation and opposition—Urban and rural integration, which clearly stressed the inevitability of urban-rural integration; But the experts and scholars represented by the scientists of Western cities illustrates the superiority of urban-rural integration in the view of city planning.Chinese scholars not only affirm the necessity of integration of urban and rural, but also stress the advantages of urban and rural development on the urban-rural integration research.The whole thesis is divided into two parts:The first part is theoretical exploration. It studies the progress of urban-rural integration research at home and abroad, also makes research in the experience of domestic urban-rural integration development; regard to other domestic scholars urban and rural integration index system, we build a set of index system for less developed regions. The second part is empirical research. On the basis of evaluations of urban-rural integration in Gansu Province, we put forward the development strategies of urban-rural integration for Gansu Province.
