There are some pratical questions in rural building and structure. For example, the poor design, low effective energy utilization, poor environment for human settlement and so on. To my study, this is a matter of great significance. Based in saving energy consumption, the sustainable development of the human settlement, I must investigate this problem and solve the questions involve tactics of building design in rural residence.Because of the differences between main trend architecture and traditional rural dwellings, it must start from dig investigation. We mostly should put us with a view to common ground, and with more analysis induction, thereby we can generalize the principal forming mode and ecological architectural experiences of traditional dwellings, So the studying will come into being typical module which are different from the dwellings in another regions. Such as soil dwelling in Guanzhong region, ammed earth wall traditional dwellings in Qinling mountainous area, the cave dwellings on Loess tableland and so on.Give a selective analysis on background character and status in quo of traditional dwellings in Guanzhong region. Such as natural causes and social factors which many buildings was formed in rural area. I have made some detail summaries and conclusions on forms of brick-concrete houses and soil dwellings. The article is based on the testing data of indoor summer and winter thermal environment in brick-concrete house and soil dwelling in Guanzhong area. Through the comparison, we found the disadvantages of heat design in brick-concrete house, and then there are several rebuild methods about brick-concrete house. In addition, there are several aspects in my article. For example, the statistic histogram of indoor thermal environment, the evaluation of luminous(light) environment, IAQ and journal of testing and evaluation about environmental wind, the testing of outdoor solar radiation, the testing temperature of Kang and so on. I did a lot of studying in temperature and humidity in the testing data. The article used the software of ECOTECT to simulate the environment in above two kinds of builds which had improved. Which provides us more numeric analysis to solve the problems mentioned above. Last but not least, study on the energy consumption of brick-concrete houses and soil dwelling in this area. It can help us understanding more about the sources of energy where to go in rural area. The article is based on the investigation of traditional dwellings in Guanzhong region. Combining with the ecological architectural experiences in traditional houses, the article is starting from design feature of traditional dwellings, energy consumption, thermal sensation of dweller three aspects, it has analyzed planning layout, structure and conformation, building materials, the pattern of energy consumption, thermal comfort in traditional buildings, and realized the principal problem in existence, Through the comparison, we found the disadvantages of heat design in rural houses. At the same time, the article has successful accomplished some evaluation in below. Such as the analysis of architectural space and structural system; the testing data of indoor winter and summer thermal environment rural dwellings; the evaluation of indoor luminous (light) environment and coefficient of lighting; the evaluation of IAQ. Thrashing out main question which including in the traditional architectural design in Guanzhong region, Seeking out the pattern of green ecological buildings, which can fulfill the ecological energy saving buildings, facilitating function, amens-amenities, Structural Safety, and come to traditional culture in Guanzhong area, and the houses also have the low cost.
