As a construction equipment, Hydraulic Excavator is widely used in transportation, energy development and the construction of the national economy. To meet customer's demands, we should improve attention to and speed up the innovation of Excavators, improve product quality steadily, all this has great significance to accelerate the modernization construction.The rationality of working equipment is an important sign of the Excavator's performance. Backhoe device is an important part of Hydraulic Excavator to achieve its functions, its structure affects the performance of Excavator directly. In designing process, the performance of Excavator can achieve the best point by changing the structure of working equipment. and better energy saving efforts is also one of the goals of the designers.Since the 80s of last century, with development of the software technology, China started to introduce a group of advanced software to develop and design the Excavator, ANSYS, ADAMS, DADS, etc are well-known software. The software is well applied in designing and analyzing the Hydraulic Excavator. For many years, a number of experts dedicated to the research in this area, and score great fruit.Hydraulic Excavators were introduced briefly in this thesis, the structural characteristics of backhoe device was analyzed and the working equipment of Excavator was kinematics and dynamics analyzed by using ADAMS, analyzed, then the linkage was optimized to ensure the link mechanism of bucket obtain the greatest transmission ratio. The main contents are: 1. Analyzed the important relevant parameters of backhoe devices, fixed a clear position coordinates of the hinged point, then the kinematics and dynamics analysis was carried out.2. Virtual prototyping technology was introduced briefly, established backhoe model through ADAMS and parameterized it, ADAMS also was used in simulation and optimization analysis optimized of link mechanism and got map of tooth tip trajectory, analyzed the key point stress of the Excavator backhoe device link mechanism and bucket arm, in the last, some basic performance parameters such as the maximum digging radius, the maximum unloading height and the largest mining height were got. The results provide a reliable reference for physical design and strength check.3. Several important parameters of the Excavator backhoe device link mechanism and bucket arm was measured about force in the test device, which has a certain meaning in the design of the Excavator.4. The credibility of virtual prototyping was authenticated through the physical prototype testing.ADAMS can be used for simulation, optimization analysis of Excavator backhoe device, Excavator performance can be raised to a certain degree, providing help for designers to completely control the Excavator working conditions, opening up new ideas for design of mining equipment, the research of this subject has a certain theoretical significance and engineering applications value...
