CFBB is a new type boiler that quickly develops in recent years. With its special advantage of energy-saving and environment-protecting, CFBB has been applied to the realms of electric power, petroleum, chemical engineering and garbage-handling etc. and brought a huge economic and social performance. On the engineering, the traditional mode to design CFBB has much shortage, because designers have to complete a great deal of data-processing, drawing-processing and computation of numerical value, which results in its long design period and low efficiency. So it has important significance for engineering application that the CFBB design software system which can realize the functions of parametric drawing and thermal calculation was developed.Based on the principle of Object-Oriented software, modularized program and the engineering practice, with the use of AutoCAD secondary developed techniques, the CAD design system of CFBB was developed, that not only the development cycle of new production can be shortened, but also the efficiency of design can be enhanced. The main work is as follows:1,The CAD design system of CFBB is developed by Visual Basic 6.0 and AutoCAD 2006 VBA exploiting technology on Windows XP operation system and AutoCAD 2006 drawing environment. The parametric design technology, ADO data technology, DLL technology, and Microsoft Office software were used in the system. Two parts such as thermal calculation system and parametric drawing system are included in the system.2,Thermal calculation system has the functions that the calculation of air characteristic and flue gas characteristic, the calculation of thermal balance of boiler, the calculation of heat transfer in dense-phase zone, the calculation of heat transfer in sparse-phase zone and the calculation of heat transfer in convective heating surface. Thermal calculation system solves the difficulty such as lots of iterativeness, DLL technology in the thermal calculation, the connection between DLL, the database, and the outer communicating data.3,With the use of AutoCAD ActiveX VBA secondary developed techniques in parametric techniques, based on the topology of the structure of CFBB, parametric drawing of CFBB can be realized. Parametric drawing system solves the difficulty such as the connection between parametric drawing, the database and the outer communicating data interface.4,The software-installing, the software-operating and the system error warning are included in the CAD design system of CFBB. There are some advantage of easy-installing, low-demand of hardware, nice interface, convenient operation, accurate calculation and wide-usage in this system. This dissertation introduce the application of the CAD design system of CFBB with the example of a new 35t/h CFBB which designed by the author.5,The CAD design system of CFBB has the functions that checking the thermal calculation, optimizing the structure of CFBB and exporting the data to Excel to create a report of thermal calculation. Takes the variables of the rear flue as examples, finds the relation between the variables, the inlet flue gas temperature and the flue gas velocity, and optimizes the structure of rear flue.
