Introduce the instrumented wheelset present situation at home and externally, and the method of the force generated at the wheel/rail interface. Aiming at the disadvantage of the wire measurement system, for example the installment is inconvenient, signal interference, the wiring is difficult, now, the main direction of transmission the wheelset data is using RF wireless technology. In this paper, we consider the existing relevant research results at home and abroad, develop a wireless instrumented wheelset monitoring based on RF technology.nanoPAN5375 wireless RF module produced by Nanotron corporation works in ISM bandranged from 2.4 to 2.48GHz.Its price is low and with the help of it, development cycle is shortening. It is an excellent wireless transceiver module. A wireless instrumented wheelset monitoring based on nanoPAN5375 is introduced. Data coming from sensor go through wireless connection and then are stored in PC while are shown to user.It analyses the whole system and designs reasonable function according to requirements. The system is composed of two parts:1.Wireless data transmitting subsystem based on nanoPAN 5375.In this part, it introduces a solution to wireless data transmitting by using RF which is in ISM band provided by nanoPAN 5375.For improving anti-interfere and the data-transmission speed, the module is used MDMA technology, to meet he high-speed demand.2.Communication subsystem between PC and wireless receiver based on USB protocol. Using USB virtual port, we transmit the sensor data to the PC, this method not only develops easily, but also breakout the transmission speed limit.3.Data display system. In this part, program the PC real-time data-display programme based on DELPHI, in addition, to save the data.Finally, several tests are running after system integrated. Then, analyse the tests result, to verify reliability of system.
