The Research On Residence Ecological Design Of Small Towns

As the policy of speeding up the development of small cities and towns is promulgated by China's Government, and for the gradual implementation of these plans, our small cities and towns are experiencing a rapid development stage.Although the construction of small cities and towns of the research is begun, but the overwhelming majority of these research results are in the economic and policy areas, involving residential architectural design of small cities and towns continued to show a lack of research. However, the common problems of housing construction and development in small cities and towns gradually become a stumbling block to the rapid development of small towns.The author participated in the "small town green residential design and construction technology development and demonstration" research projects, conducted a field survey about residence of small towns in Shaanxi Province. A field survey including with questionnaire surveys of residents; on the local typical of old and new housing plan detailed mapping and photographs; data test for typical housing of indoor thermal environmental (using the professional measuring instruments), then the author cited the large amount of data derived from research and to carry out the analysis in the article, summarized to the problems which are scattered housing layout of small town in Shaanxi Province, and the corresponding lag in public infrastructure construction, construction site, waste-storey high, worse indoor thermal environment, the building envelope lacking of insulation construction measures and so on.The strategy of residential energy-saving design with eco-design strategies, and climate adaptation and recycling of construction materials and other means should be applied in a small town house eco-design. According to the functional layout, thermal environment, optimize the design surface area and courtyard design for single residential flat; through the external wall decoration and the reasonable choice for residential window facade design; determine the appropriate residential floors and effective use of building space and to take reasonable cross-section profile form design. Focus is to take appropriate measures in thermal insulation envelope structure to address the small town house of the problem of poor indoor thermal environment.
