The Operation Mode And Its Selection Of Inbound Logistics Of Automobile Manufactures Based On JIT

Accompanied by global economic integration, our automobile industry is growing fast, and the competition is fiercer and fiercer. In order to win the competition position, automobile manufacturing enterprises need to strengthen their management and administration, lower costs constantly, and improve the service quality and level under this situation. Logistics is a main field of lowering costs; the inbound logistics is the most important part of automotive logistics, the cost of inbound logistics account for the largest part of the whole automotive logistics costs. All non-value added activities and consuming can be eliminated through the implementation of JIT, and significantly reduce costs, improve productivity and product quality.The logistics cost can be reduced effectively through the usage of JIT in the inbound logistics process, and achieve to the purpose of eliminating waste.The inbound logistics operation mode of automobile manufacturers based on JIT is studied in the research. At first, the research situation of the domestic and foreign automobile inbound logistics and the related theoretical foundation of inbound logistics is introduced;second,the classification of the operation mode of automobile inbound logistics based on JIT has been studied, and the operation mode is devided into three kinds in accordance with the dominant party logistics,business processes and parts;then,the three kinds of the JIT inbound logistics operation mode that is the JIT logistics mode undertaken by carriers, third-party logistics companies (3PL) mode of commitment to the JIT logistics,automotive self-manufacturing mode of JIT logistics carriers bear JIT logistics is analysized and compared;on the basis of this,the choice of the three operation mode of the inbound logistics based on JIT has been studied through the usage of AHP and expert scoring;at last,a specific case is given in order to apply and verify the JIT logistics operation mode selection method.The research of the automobile inbound logistics, especially the research of the operation mode of the automobile inbound logistics based on JIT has very important meaning to accelerate the rationalized process of logistics of the manufacturing company of the automobile, reduce the cost of automobile spare part supply logistics, and raise service level of inbound logistics.
