As the China's largest modern industrial base, Shanghai has a very long industrial history. In the nineties of 20th century, with the "retreating two into three" of the industrial restructuring, a large number of industrial heritage buildings have been idle or abandoned. In recent years, as the window of China's reforming and opening up and the international metropolis, Shanghai is walking in front of the country in reusing industrial heritage buildings, and the practices of reusing industrial heritage buildings are more and more.
