Empty Container Handler is a logistics handling equipment used in harbor and storage yard.Because of the narrow work space, frequently starting, steering, braking, the vehicle need to equip a safe and effective braking system. Hydraulic brake system currently represents the Empty Container Handler brake system research and application direction.Hydraulic brake system is one of the key technologies affect the whole Empty Container Handler performance.Theoretical analysis and experimental study of the Empty Container Handler hydraulic brake system performance is made in this paper. First introduced Empty Container Handler of mechanical machines, hydraulic pressure principle, electrical control; then compared the SDCY90 and DCE Empty Container Handler on brake system similarities and differences, and focused analysis of both cost-effective, and then Stacker Braking principle, a mathematical model, the mathematical model and the principle of the braking system AMESim software platform built in the simulation model. The use of simulation software AMESim after the model simulation, analysis of the hydraulic system parameters on the brake performance, according to the simulation results presented in the accumulator pressure to maintain a certain case, an increase in pipe diameter and reduce the length of pipe will improve braking response time. Finally, SDCY90 Empty Container Handler hydraulic brake system performance were studied, the results show that:the accumulator volume filling pressure 140bar 10L circumstances, continuous brake 7 to 8 times and still get to meet the braking requirements; in situ braking condition and different speeds no-load brake and load conditions braking condition, the experimental results and simulation results and simulation model is correct.
