Along with the advancement of urbanization, the construction of the rail transit is on the rise in majority cities, its high speed and the large capacity characteristic is able to provide fine service for the residents. It causes the rail transit to play an important role in the urban transit system, but the influence alone the rail transit is insufficient. The function of the bicycle traffic has been weakened in the entire city's transportation system'. But its flexible, the mobile characteristic in the city's transportation system, particularly in the short distance journey has manifested the superiority which other transportation ways do not have. It also can provide the convenient service for the resident. Therefore unifies the bicycle transit and the rail transit, has displayed their superiority separately, not only expanded the orbital transportation influence area, at the same time, transferring by bicycle transit can connect the residents'home and the rail transit system stands. It enabled their superiority to obtain supplementary.This article first separately analyzes the functions of the bicycle transit system and the rail transit system in the city transportation system, has obtained both separately in the city transportation system's localization and the characteristic, then discusses the necessity with both transfer from energy conservation environmental protection, efficiency, trip mode, journey level, urban comprehensive transportation and so on, and also analyzes the necessity of the transfer of them. We can find that this mode can shorten the time and rise the efficiency of the residents.Then it analyzes the mode of bicycle to transfer the rail transit. By analyzed the process of the transfer, it summarized the hub-and-spoke network and discussed the efficiency of this transfer mode. Affects the residents to choose this mode the factor is to be many, but the former factor, such as safety and comfortable, often may not be estimated, because each person has the different choice standard. This article constructed the disaggregate model and also estimate the factors of the mode which the passengers choose, to deduce the probability of the transfer between the bicycle transit system and rail transit system. It analyzes the rail transit and bicycle transfer mode which obtained the forecast through the probability to stem from the driving the parking demand. Finally, this article discusses the probability of the mode weather can be carried on. It also do research on the problems which the mode has to be faced on. By the end of the article, it proposes the operating strategy to this transfer mode, as well as in reality the utilization example.
