Diaphragm is one of the key parts in reciprocating diaphragm pump and it is also easy to be damaged. After the diaphragm cracking, liquid stuff will swarm into the other side of the diaphragm room. This will makes the cleaning and replacing process very hard. Due to the upper reasons, it is necessary to develop an alarming system used for the diaphragm cracking forecast.This dissertation is mainly based on the SCM technology, combine with the sensor and micro-communication technology and use them into the design of industrial control systems. It makes a further study in the theory of diaphragm cracking forecast system.This dissertation introduces the structure and working function of diaphragm pumps, the aftereffect of diaphragm cracking that cause to the equipments, some general domestic and abroad methods used in diaphragm cracking diagnostic.In the hardware part of the system, it designed the alarming circuit consists of relative humidity sensor, SCM and other chips by using Protel99 SE. It also designed circuits used for controlling the dynamic equipment based on SCM and communicating with PC.In the software part of the system, it designed the program used for mechanical control, PC/MSU communicating interface, A/D transformation and some other functions by using Visual Basic and C language.In the testing part, it tested the working performance and reliability of the system under the simulating environment by using data that acquired from the experiment.Finally, it makes a simple appraisal for the performance of this system and point out some potential problems to be solved in the future.
