Pipeline transportation using diaphragm pump is a new mode of transportation, which is a long-distance transportation of solid grain in the suspending condition after being made into slurry with water. This kind of transportation mode has many merits such as low investment and cost, no polluting and so on. Furthermore, diaphragm pump has many advantages comparing with other pumps such as piston pump and is being increasingly used in industry.As the development of the 3D modeling and simulation software, the visual design technology is increasingly used in industrial design, which avoids wasting a lot of manpower and fund because of manufacturing the prototype of diaphragm pump and reduces the cost. The thesis uses the SolidWorks to create 3D models of the parts of diaphragm pump and simulate the working process of diaphragm pump using ADAMS software. Then detect interference and modify the parameters till the model of diaphragm pump runs well.Because the increase of the critical rotate speed of diaphragm pump can increase the flow or reduce the volume and mass of the diaphragm pump, increasing the critical rotate speed has been being the desire for producer and designer. The thesis analyses the main factors of limiting the critical rotate speed and deduces the formula of the critical rotate speed, and then presents the measures of increasing the critical rotate speed.Diaphragm is one of the key parts of diaphragm pump. The crack of the diaphragm will affect the normal work of diaphragm pump. The thesis uses the technology of the finite element analysis to calculate the stress acting on the diaphragm in the working process, and then gives the calculation method of fatigue strength of the diaphragm.As a machine, diaphragm pump has some failures in the working process inevitably. So it is very important to monitor its state and alarm when the failure happens. The thesis adopts the control technology of PLC to monitor the key parts of diaphragm pump, and presents the circuit diagram and program of PLC system. Finally, the thesis analyzes and researches the vibrating reasons of the pipeline connecting with diaphragm pump, and then adopts some measurements of restraining the vibration.
